Project Green Home's curbside charger has officially given away 200,000 miles of free EV charging! To celebrate this milestone, we are hosting a party on April 16th, at Project Green Home, 314 Stanford Ave in Palo Alto, noon-3pm. The event is an opportunity to meet EV owners, kick the tires and potentially even test drive a mess of EVs! You can also try cooking on an induction stove. We will have chefs and supply food. Finally, come tour Project Green Home, an all electric, passive, low water use, net zero, LEED platinum home.
Bring your kids, they can jump on the trampoline, chase chickens or maybe even cook you something yummy on an induction stove!

Project Green Home's curbside charger has oficially given away 100,000 miles of free electricity to anyone who wants to charge their car. To celebrate this milestone, as well as the upgrade to the charging station, we are hosting a party! The celebration is on July 20th, from 2-4pm at Project Green Home, 314 Stanford Ave in Palo Alto. The event will feature an EV ride and drive , an opportunity to test drive a host of different electic vehicles to see if one is right for you. You can also try cooking on an induction stove . This is a great chance to try cooking on an all electric stove and consider making the switch. We will have chefs and supply food. Finally, come tour Project Green Home, an all electric, passive, net zero, LEED platinum home. PGH's Sven Thesen is presenting at a panel hosted by Keizai Silicon Valley, on Clean Tech Development and The Role of State and Federal Regulation in structuring Emerging Markets. It will explore the example of transportation electrification (one of PGH's specialities!) and how it is influenced by the CARB, CEC, and CPUC. Expertise is provided from experts (including our own!) in electrified transport and green living. More information can be found at their website.

The Climate Change Book Club is meeting at Project Green Home for a 30-minute tour / field trip to the home of Sven Thesen. Members are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch to eat with the group there after the tour. In preparation for the tour, check out our digital booklet.

PGH's Sven Thesen is co-teaching "Is an Electric Vehicle Right for you?" Sign up here. This free class is co-sponsored with and supported by the City of Palo Alto. Although class is free, advance registration is REQUIRED, as space is limited.
As a bonus, for an hour before class (starting at 4:30) and 30+ minutes after class ends at 7:30, there will be a number of EVs to explore in and out, including Nissan Leaf, Kia Soul EV, Chevy Volt, Fiat 500-e, Ford Focus EV, Tesla, and new all-electric Chevy Bolt with 238 mile range!

This event will take place at 314 Stanford Avenue, Palo Alto on Tuesday, Jan 24th, 2017. from 6 P.M to 8 P.M.
If you have already signed up to be an Ambassador, or are thinking about volunteering, but need more information, you will want to attend this party! We had a great time hosting tours of Project Green Home. We also loved the friendly EV Ride & Drive competition happening near our curbside EV charger, and we hope that it encouraged more people to make the switch. We enjoyed having CA Assemblymember Candidate (District 24) Marc Berman over to answer questions as well. More to come!
